Medical Assistant Training Certificate

Become a medical assistant in just 12 weeks! Learn to assist physicians with administrative and clinical responsibilities and prepare for the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) exam.

  • 8 weeks in class
    • Monday – Thursday 9:00am – 5:00pm
    • Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm
  • 4-week externship
    • Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm

Phlebotomy Training Program

Become a phlebotomist technician in 8 weeks! Upon successful completion of this program you will have the skills necessary to obtain employment as a phlebotomy or specimen processing technician.

Tuition: $1,600

Licensed Nursing Assistant Program

The LNA training program prepares you to work in a vital role providing direct patient care and emphasizes many areas of healthcare education including infection control, safety and proper body mechanics.

This five-week Board of Nursing approved program, run by Manchester Community College, is now offered in Portsmouth at Great Bay Community College. It combines in-person instruction (24 hours clinical lab instruction & 60 hours of clinical training at a local healthcare facility) and 60 hours of online work.

Culinary Arts & Sustainable Foodways

12-week Training Program integrates sustainability, advocacy and critical thinking about the role of chefs in our food systems, providing on-the-job training opportunities in kitchens of local establishments.
